In this study, AGM, an Ankara-based construction company, was made to prepare an overpass project whose total bridge length is 155m and bridge piper distance is 42m and which is constructed of ferroconcrete with prefabricate carcass system. In this overpass, pedestrians’ passage is through ramps and stairs. 3D modeling was necessary as the overpass, which connects Cultural Park and business centers on Vatan Street, has a large bridge piper distance, advanced construction technique and is located in one of the most important streets of the city. 2D and 3D projects prepared by AGM Company were modeled with VR modeling techniques and a work program was prepared. The contractor company cooperated with Konya based Ali İNER Construction Trade Limited Company and construction process was modeled with VR modeling technique. The modeling started from the digs at the bridge pipers and all process of construction was animated. According to animations made, daily work programs were prepared considering very heavy traffic on the street and thus the need to finish construction in a very short period of time. Because of different post-tensioning system used in this bridge and differences in bridge cross section, the need to use special steel moulds emerged. For moulds to be flawless the projections were prepared with 3D modeling techniques with error margin of millimeters and the moulds were produced according to projections. Construction process was continuously monitored with VR modeling and according to work program, operation was finished in time.
