Adsorption capacity of pine pollen cone as powder on Remazol Black 31 (RB31) and Reactive Yellow 145 (RY145) was investigated. Effect of pH, adsorbent dosage, contact time, and initial concentration were tested. The pseudo-first order and pseudo-second order kinetic models were tested with the data of adsorption kinetics, with the pseudo-second order equation better describing the adsorption kinetics. Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, and Dubinin-Radushkevich isotherm models were tested with the adsorption equilibrium data. The highest coefficients of determination were yielded for Langmuir’s equation with adsorption capacity of 20.04 and 6.85 mg.g-1 for Remazol Black 31 and Reactive Yellow 145, respectively.
