Cancer is a biopsychosocial chronic disease that affects the patient not only physically and emotionally, but it also affects the relations of the patients with their significant others significantly. All the negative experiences in the chronic disease process are conceptualized as “biographical disruption”. It may be defined as, interruption of life fluency and social identity and unable to predict the projected life cycle. In order to examine the experiences of the cancer patients and their coping strategies, netnography method is used and totally 57 (46 female and 11 male) cancer patients that post their life story in an interactive blog were analyzed.
