ABSTRACT
Cordyceps militaris is accepted as an economically- valued mushroom due to its varieties benefit effects. It is marketable due to various medicinal properties. Nevertheless, the production of this mushroom nowadays is not enough for the consumers because of quite difficult and take a long time for cultivation. The aim of this study is to develop the medium formular of C.militaris from local rice in Narathiwas. There were 10 formulas carried out for this investigation. The result was shown that Seebookantang formula was shown the highest yield of cordycepin (725 mg/100 g) and adenosine (36 mg/100g) of dry weight of this herbal powder. This study could have application in other fermentation process at industrial level.
