ABSTRACT
The present paper is a modest attempt to analyze the theme of alienation and identification in Gowda’s Secret Daughter. The saga revolves around three women in different contexts, their trauma and their ideologies. It explores how alienation affects them on sociological, psychological, emotional and even at biological level. The papertraces their individual quests of renewal through association of the self.
