Nowadays the Organized Crime is spread all over the world. Thus, it is very important that all the states undertake efficient measurements to fight it. This fight cannot be made by the states themselves, but it needs good cooperation between them. Interstates juridical help in the criminal process is a good possibility of interaction for an effective fight against crime. This is why they are of great interest to be studied in-depth. After the communist regime fall in Albania in 1991, the state was oriented into the democratic system, which was followed by general reforms. Being a new democracy in Europe, which aims to be part of EU, Albania has made great efforts to improve and complete the legislation, based on the models of more developed democracies. This article tends to analyze the Albanian legal basis of the interstates juridical help in the criminal process, based on a detailed observation, using scientific descriptive and comparative research methods, linking the fight against organized crime in EU and non-EU countries, ensuring security in the whole region.
