This research applies mixed research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative research. The qualitative research tool is to conduct the in-depth interviews with 30 keys informants of 4 groups, namely the political, official, academic, and local leader and quantitative research is done by surveyed questionnaire on the target groups as a research tool. The samples consisted of 175 persons calculated by using Taro Yamane random sampling. Data analysis used in the research was frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and ANOVA F-test.
The study found that women's political leaders have come from political families' included parents or relatives who were politicians. Overall, the characteristics of Thai women's political leaders were average at 3.26. It was found that the Thai women political in the Era of globalization are intelligence; know the goals of country administration and courage to make decisions in administration. Overall, the women's role in political management was average at 3.78 due to key factors such as political vision, work experiences, ability to utilize technology in management. When taking in consideration the relationship between status variables and success of political leaders, it was found that Thai women political leaders' background, age, education, income, work experiences, and the success of Thai women political leaders consisted of 3 variables: Thai women political leaders' background, education, work experience differs significantly at .05 level. As for the variables of age, income did not differ significantly, with the significance level higher than 0.05.
