This study was performed to test the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of Adult Attitudes toward Continuing Education Scale (AACES). The study also aimed to determine the relationship between attitudes toward continuing education and selected demographic characteristics of adults in Turkey. The study was conducted over a total of 840 participants who are working as academic and administrative staff at Hacettepe University in Ankara. Main components analysis and confirmative factor analysis results applied with the aim of determining the factor structure of Adult Attitudes toward Continuing Education Scale showed that scale articles has a four factor structure explaining 49.26% of total variance and the model with four factors have a more coherent structure with available data. Based on these results, it is possible to say that AACES has psychometric characteristics necessary for using in the studies to be carried out in our country.
