The article describes the project designed to counteract the radical downturn we observe in the humanistic approach on every level of education. I diagnose the condition of humanistic thinking skills amongst the young and propose an educational course based on exploration of issues carried in classic literature and philosophy. Moreover, the vast effect that anti humanistic approach in education has on our societies is analyzed. Furthermore, I describe the details of designed course and name the benefits it can bring into social and professional life of each student. In addition, the problem of re-educating teachers and provoking the major shift in their attitude towards teaching humanities is being introduced. I prove such enterprise could not only become a fruitful learning and teaching experience, but it could be of great help in future life of students. While proposing new methods of using a literary and philosophical text in educational practice, the project helps to find new ways of introducing and restoring the treasures of intellectual culture for the young.
