The aim of this study is determine the correlation between attitudes towards teaching profession and school practicum achievement of teacher candidates studying at Pedagogic Formation Certificate Program. The study group of this research in which relational screening model was used, consisted of 170 teacher candidates (126 female, 44 male) from different disciplines studying at Pedagogic Formation Certificate Program. To determine teacher candidates’ attitudes towards teaching profession, “Inventory of Attitudes Towards Teaching Profession” developed by Ustuner (2006) was applied. The school practicum points of teacher candidates were obtained through the observation forms created by the faculty at university and associate teacher at school. The analyses related to teacher candidates’ attitudes towards teaching profession and school practicum achievement was accounted with pearson correlation method. To determine whether there is a significant difference between points of their attitudes and school practicum points according to gender, an independent t-test analysis was applied. As a result of the analysis done, whereas positive correlation between teacher candidates’ attitudes and school practicum achievement was found, there was no significant difference in the attitudes towards teaching profession according to gender.
