This research was conducted to investigate if there was a significant correlation between multiple intelligences of the undergraduate EFL students in Indonesia and their writing achievement, and to identify which type of intelligence that mostly influenced their writing achievement. By means of a ready–made multiple intelligence questionnaire and writing test, the data were obtained. The results from correlation analysis showed that there were two types of intelligence that had statistically significant correlation with the writing achievement; linguistic intelligence and interpersonal intelligence, in which linguistic intelligence was the most influential one.
