Nigeria is blessed with abundant human and natural resources. In order to utilize these resources for vision 2020; quality education particular mathematics education is a pre-requisite. ICT sectors have become one of the core foundations undermining knowledge, skills, social and economic development of many nations, government around the world are called on to develop ICT strategies. This paper discusses the content of mathematics education and significance of introducing ICT in mathematics education. It highlighted the mission of vision of 2020 and how ICT in mathematics education could be used to achieve the vision. Some recommendations are made which include the ICT centre to be attached to mathematics department in all tertiary institution with power generating plant to cater for the electrical problems.
