In Kahn’s article, Form and Design he made it clear that personal feelings are very important to architects, students of architecture, and to architecture itself especially when it comes to teaching young architects. Personal feelings away from thoughts lead him to an arrangement of philosophies. And in his opinion, having philosophies allows Realization to happen. Addressing young architects, he said that this concept becomes clear through designing. While Kahn was listening the young architect’s questions about the disciplines to follow when talking about the measurable nature and the immeasurable such as feelings and dreams, this distinction between Form and Design became a valid point of discussion in Kahn’s classroom.
