This article presents, the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM), an analytic tool used in formulating marketing strategies. The QSPM is only one technique in the literature designed to determine the relative attractiveness of feasible alternative strategies. This technique is widely used today in the classroom among business students learning on strategic management concepts. However, the concepts QSPM had never been discussed in marketing context. It is also adopted as a useful tool to prioritize strategies in real business organizations. In addition, this article provides some remarks about the QSPM that should be considered and addressed in using this tool to produce strategic choice for market planning which leads to successful marketing plan.
