The current study aimed at verifying the effect of collaborative training based on virtual classroom on Kuwaiti kindergarten teachers’ professional competencies. The study adopted a developmental research approach which included the descriptive method to identify the problem, the research hypotheses, and the research experiment had been designed according to ADDIE instructional design model, where a collaborative training program based on virtual classrooms was designed and prepared by the researcher and applied on a sample that consisted of (18) female kindergarten teachers in Kuwait. The sample was composed of one experimental group trained by the proposed training material. The study tools were: an achievement test on cognitive competencies for assessing the basics of smartboard and children's drawings analysis administrated before and after the experiment, a product evaluation card (checklist) for assessing the performance skills, competencies. The study results revealed that there was a statistically significant difference at (α ≤ 0.05) between the pre and post applications of the achievement test in favor of the post application which referred to a significant effect of collaborative training based on virtual classroom and competencies development for the Kuwaiti kindergarten teachers.
