Cluster sampling was adopted for the current survey research (N=143) to learn undergradutate students’ opinions on using Internet in May 2012. Cronbach’s alpha is 0.854 and the result is significant at p≤ .05. The majority of the participants used the Internet; on a daily basis (91.6%), for 1-2 hours per day (30.8%) and 3-4 hours per day (31.5%), for studies/assignments etc. for 1-2 hours a day (32.2%) and 1-2 hours a week (27.3%). The result was significant for gender and purpose of Internet use. Female students’ Internet activities significantly differed from male students’ activities. Female students mainly used the Internet for studying, presentation preparation, and assignment preparation; while male students used the Internet for reading sport news, playing games, and shopping. In addition to this, the respondents’ Internet use experience, frequency, and duration affected their Internet based opinions and activities in a positive way.
