This study is investigated television viewing behavior that effect to the emotional intelligence of 400 undergraduate students in the Bangkok. The Survey contains with personal information, television viewing behavior and the emotional intelligence variable of the students. The questionnaire developed by the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health of Thailand. The total scores of emotional intelligence were evaluated used to be compared with the emotional quotient score for adults aged 18-25 years old. The results found that television watching behavior and emotional intelligence between male and female are significant difference at 0.05 by female emotional intelligences than males. Exposure to television in the hour found that more spending watching television will decrease in emotional intelligence, statistical significance at 0.05. Besides, parent education affected the students' emotional intelligence is a significant 0.01.
