The purpose of this study is to develop the instructional model of seventh grade students to enhance their information literacy. The sample group used in the study is 50 seventh grade students from Yothinburana School in Bangkok by using judgment sampling. The instructional model is divided into seven steps: the first step is to gain learners’ attention by setting questions to specify the topic, the second step is exploration which includes planning, collecting, checking, analyzing, and concluding data, the third step is to connect new knowledge with prior knowledge to become new knowledge for learners, the fourth step is to create a piece of work to present their knowledge, the fifth step is to expand knowledge in order to share their knowledge to other people and, at the same time, examine their own understanding, the sixth step is to develop a greater understanding which allows learners to reflect and apply their knowledge to new situations to make a permanent and deep understanding, the seventh step is to evaluate the learning process and the results of it. The tools used in this experiment are instruction plan, multiple choice test, and performance testing. The experiment lasted 40 hours. The expectation for learners after being developed according to the model is that they significantly have more information literacy skills than before receiving the development.
