Teenagers are the most valuable human capital in any developing country. Therefore not preparing them for the future can impose detrimental effect not only to themselves but to the prospect of the country itself. Guidance and counseling services in schools are one of the best medium to help young teenagers exploring and try new things in responsible manner. Besides that, through guidance and counseling help, teenagers can reach a lot of information through sharing process or self–experiential learning such as searching for career information. These can be obtained by providing the right services to the right potential client. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the need of guidance and counseling services among teenagers in secondary schools in Brunei Darussalam. This study used quantitative approach with survey design and data has been collected using questionnaire. Students from four schools has been selected in every districts of Brunei Darussalam and data gained from the study was analyzed using Statistical Packages for Social Sciences version 18 (SPSS 18). Results show that group counseling and career counseling are the most needed among secondary schools students in Brunei Darussalam followed by family counseling, academic program, HIV/AIDS prevention program, individual counseling, and cigarettes and drugs prevention program. The implication of this study towards students and the service provider were discussed.
