The major purpose of this study is to determine the strategies for improving the teaching and learning of NCE business education courses for sustainable employment of NCE business education graduates. The study answered three research questions among which are — what are the factors responsible for unemployment of NCE business education graduates, what are the instructional techniques/materials needed to make NCE Business Education graduates secure and generate sustainable employment offerings in NCE business education for sustainable employment of NCE business education graduates. What are the skills and competencies needed by the NCE Business Education Graduates to secure and generate sustainable employment The study adopted descriptive survey design while the population for the study comprised all business education lecturers in the colleges of education in South East Nigeria which is approximately ninety one. A thirty seven item questionnaire consisting of four response options of strongly agree, agree, disagree and strongly disagree was used to elicit information for the study. The data collected were analyzed using mean. Any item with mean of 2.5 and above was accepted as a strategy while items with mean less than 2.5 were not regarded or accepted as a strategy. Conclusions and recommendations were drawn based on the findings of the study. It was found that the respondents agreed that all the factors except high failure rate of new businesses are responsible for rising unemployment of NCE business education graduates, all the instructional techniques and materials are needed to make NCE business education graduates secure and generate sustainable employment, and all the skills and competences are needed by NCE business education graduates to secure and generate sustainable employment.
